The Messy Face® Story:

Throughout her life, Debra Lindh cared for a disabled relative who while could self-feed needed a clothing protector. Unfortunately, bibs offered insufficient protection which resulted in using a bath towel wrapped around their neck, however using a towel did not prevent messy mealtimes and created a lot of work for family caregivers.

Many years later, Debra experienced the same messy situations when caring for her children. While conventional bibs offered little coverage and protection for clothes and delicate, sensitive skin, Lindh thought to make a prototype of a bib that protected the neckline, functioned to protect clothes and the person wearing the bib as well as designed to making a caregiver’s life a little easier.

In 2008, Messy Face Designs, Inc. manufactured the Messy Face® clothing protector for the juvenile industry. Finally, a product designed by a caregiver for caregivers that offered a solution to mealtime messes! The Messy Face® bib received many awards and recognitions from industry leaders, inventors, and caregivers!

Encouraged from her early life experience and inspired to make a difference for people in need, Debra introduced the Messy Face® clothing protector to accommodate adults. Whether in an adult day care, in-home care, assisted living, rehabilitation, or disabled care giving– Messy Face® continues to manufacturer in the USA an innovative bib that provides a solution to messy mealtimes, all the while making life a little easier for the caregiver, and a comfortable yet durable clothing protector for our special friends, family members, and residents.
